Planning Our Future meeting today.

A great meeting with about 45 people in attendance representing health-care and human-services agencies along with training providers from throughout the 9-county region!  Opening remarks from the CEO of the largest employer in Ontario County, Linda Farchione of Thompson Health, hit all the right notes in presenting the idea that "now is the time to "think out of the box", the time to take risks and be creative, the time to lead"!  (Exactly what the Health Care Alliance of the Finger Lakes is all about!)   Her message "dove-tailed" so well with the planning that took place after her remarks.  Work-groups formed to address the issues of hiring, training, retaining and developing "pipeline" of talented workers to the industry. 

Thanks to the Finger Lakes Community College for hosting todays event.  Your new campus in Victor was perfect!
